Love Is Dead

LOVE IS DEAD
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Heart's garden, once bloomed love's sweet delight,
Now lies in shadows, hidden from our sight.
Whispers of promises, now faded and frayed,
The echo of laughter, in silence it's laid.4
Gone are the days of passion's fiery embrace,
Replaced by emptiness, a cold & hollow place.
Where once danced the flames of love's eternal light,
Now only ashes remain, scattered in the night.8
Love, once a melody so pure and true,
Now a somber dirge, a mournful adieu.
Farewell to the dreams that once brightly led,
In the garden of hearts, love is now dead.¹²
