Love Is Confusing

I love you so I cannot breathe
But all you do is display seethe
So I have run to hide away
The love I had upon display

I cannot break this little spell
Created my own little hell
Not to help me no-one can
Does this make me less a man

We all need some heaven
To make life devine
Knew since I was seven
And a pain in the spine

No matter the love
No matter the pain
To fit like a glove
And to walk in the rain

For the wanting of love
Is essential to live
While I am praying above
It is love that I give

I'd give you my life
I'd give you my soul
But creating the strife
Does not make us whole

All I can say
Is I love you so much
I hope and I pray
To be feeling your touch

Love is confusing
You can never be sure
But to keep you from losing
Don't take a detour
