Love Is Blind

That is true, love is blind
But not always bad
Sometimes touching and kind

A mother loves her baby
Without having to see
Still has pictures in her head maybe
Of little feet running, shouting with glee

Baby's now born
The mother smiles
She can't see her beautiful baby but her hearts not torn
She holds her close and tightly ready to carry her for miles

She loves from within and not though her eyes
And she feels her heart flutter day by day
Her baby is now three the time flies
Sitting there quietly smiling she hears her sweet baby play

Her sight is forever gone
And she cant see love but can feel it
She didn't have to see her baby for her life to go on
She was already happy to commit

Her life is almost over
She feels her daughter now all grown up by her side
It's now time to pass over
Not being able to hold her hand anymore was the first time she cried

She never had to see her baby to love it
Because love is blind

Yeah love is blind, a very sad but beautiful written poem, mothers are really special creatures, they love their child more than anything, no matter how bad we re to them, she can sacrifice her happiness for ours, so it s our duty to love our mother and look after her, as she spent her whole life for us however I m new on this site and would really appreciate if you could find time to read my poems and give your honest reviews about them

Very touching Phoenix. It goes by so fast. I wrote a poem with Charma called In The Blink Of An Eye, I think you might enjoy it...Tim
