Love Is a Silken Cloth
Distance between eyes never measured
As worlds wash slowly away
Passion's interludes are treasured
Fingertip caresses seem to stay
Sighs become moments of unison
And time an ocean of waves
Love is a silken cloth finely spun
And worn by lovers enslaved
Reflected silhouettes in moonlight
That lay upon farthest hills
Lovers become lost 'till dawn's light
While hearts are bursting still
