Love is a one way street It either you love me or you don't Either way you get to prove it If we are to sail through our love boat You give your all without holding back, Creating time and space in your busy agenda Giving that which I for long lack, And you don't need to write that on your calendar. For love is a one way street You embark on a journey without knowing the exact destination, Yet you endure even if the ride is bitter or sweet And you manage to keep up the conversation Love is a one way street Made of concern, care and trust, All the doubts, hearsay you put beneath your feet Stay loyal and above all others you put your lover first Love is a one way street All moving towards the same direction Never allow your thoughts compet And never give in to temptation. Love is a one way street The only way street Never turn back in regret For that will undermine all that you have invest.
