Love Is
This poem was my son's favorite. My son was mowed down by a Coach USA Bus driver operating a NJ Transit bus Wednesday July 18, 2012. The bus was speeding as his back wheel jumped the handicap curb dragged my son 50 to 100 feet to his death. The bus was not charged with his death. He was set free. I am fighting for justice for my son Deshon Johnson. You can google his name Deshon Johnson's petition on change.org.
I like to dedicate this poem to my only child Deshon Johnson.
Love Is
Love is patient and forever kind.
Love is conscious and tells of compassion on your
mind.
Love carries high standards of respect.
Love is polite and so gentle that it does not show any
disrespect.
Love is right, Love is never wrong
Love can make you emotionally weak or strong.
Love is a beautiful affection that wipes away your tears.
Love shelters and tries to protect you from your fears.
Love is a free agent that invites you into ones heart.
Love embraces and picks you up when you feel
emotionally torn apart.
Love is lost, Love is gained
Love for jealousy can bring on pain.
Love is a word that will never expire.
Love helps when you’re in need and gives to ones
desire.
Love is to be adored
Love is emotionally drawn and have you
craving for more.
Love is good, Love is pure
Love is real, and Love is sure.
Love is the ruler of the heart
Love captures and paints a romantic art.
Love leaves your eyes with a sentimental glare.
Love feels and holds special moments that are rare.
Love soars in your heart high like a dove
Love is a word that everyone should know of.
Love is more precious than diamonds in coal.
Love touches and heals the soul.
