Love In Candlelight
The candle slowly flickers.
Her eyes, sparkle in the light!
We can feel the passion, in the room,
on this most exciting night!
We whisper to each other,
even though we're all alone!
The words we speak, are words of love,
in a soft, romantic tone!
I hand to her, a small bouquet,
and pledge her, my devotion!
She tells me that, she loves me too,
with deep, sincere emotion!
I gently, take her hand in mine.
I place a gift, into her palm!
A little box, of velvet blue!
It's a struggle, to stay calm!
She slowly, opens up the box.
There's blushing, in her cheeks!
While, she gazes at the diamond,
I then begin to speak!
"My darling, will you be my wife"?
I ask, in anticipation!
She threw her arms, around my neck!
"I Will, I Will" she then replies, with joyful adulation!
