Love In Black and White

Blue eyes, pale skin, in love with a black girl
He promise he would love to the end
But his parents did not like it, that wasn't something they believed in
Date your own race, and never cross that line

But Linda loved him the same, but she did not want to separate him from his family
She had to make this sacrifice you see
She had to let him go, told him she did not love him
And it hurt your heart to say does words to him
But she knew it was for the best

They went  their ways, but Billy never stop thinking about Linda
Ten years passed, Billy married with two kids
And poor Linda............................................ to be continued

Strong write on race... I have a poem called "What My Eyes See Now" about a girl I met and loved a long time ago...She made such an inpact on my life that this poem is in my first book and I give her a special thanks in the begining... always wiht a smile Michael ps. blue eyes also lol
