Love, I Dare

As waning sun
shall close the day
and stars betray
my heart's undone.
The quilted night,
no solace brings,
her voice ne'er sings
to ease my plight.
Yet, love, I dare
to speak your name
by candle flame
and feel you there.
I long for this
one scented kiss.
