Love Hurts

Have you ever loved someone
But knew they didn’t care?
Wished so much to speak to them
Had so much to share

Wished that you could meet them
And tell them how you feel
Nothing in the world
Could ever be so real

Have you ever realised
How much those three words mean?
Of the things I could say
Those are the words so keen

Love is like a knife blade
It cuts so deep inside
An evil part of nature
Of what we must abide

Life is hard at times
When love defeats my mind
Courage, strength and will power
The things I need to find

Being in love with someone
Who doesn’t love you too,
Is stupid, I should know
I fell in love with you.
