Love Has It's Side Effects
I feel your hand touch mine, and suddenly I'm blind.
I can't see where I'm going.
I can taste you on my lips, and my heart sinks like a ship.
And I don't know what I'm doing.
So, I lay in my bed. I'm trying to get you out of my head,
But I smell you on my pillow.
All I can do is try and catch a glimpse of you,
So, I'm staring out my window.
Every time you walk away, I just wanna beg you to stay.
Every single time I commit this sin, I fear I'll never see you again.
And I see you in my dreams, whenever I fall asleep.
Can't you see?
This is what you do to me.
I know it makes you weak every time I kiss your cheek.
That's why I kiss you as much as I can.
And I just wish you could see, how much you mean to me,
But you will never understand.
So, I try to explain how much pleasure and pain
You cause me to feel.
Sometimes, I wanna die, but when I look into your eyes,
I know this is real.
Every time you walk away, I just wanna beg you to stay.
Every single time I commit this sin, I fear I'll never see you again.
And I see you in my dreams, whenever I fall asleep.
Can't you see?
This is what you do to me.
You've made me so weak,
And I'm starting to think
That I can't survive without you next to me.
Oh, baby, I never thought I'd see
This embodiment of ecstasy.
Oh, darling, you've set me free.
Oh, darling, you've set me free.
Every single time I close my eyes, I'm begging to be by your side.
You're the one that makes my heart skip a beat, and I'm kneeling at your feet.
And you're the girl of my dreams, whenever I fall asleep.
Can't you see?
This is what you do to me.
