Love Forever

Before you, I didn't believe
There was a heaven or hell.
The idea of religion was new,
And I didn't know it too well.

I couldn't believe evil
As we've come to know,
All came from the Devil
Who lived somewhere below.

Or that some God, Himself,
Sitting on a throne above,
Let His own son be killed,
And He did so out of love.

You showed me the truth,
Put me on the path to believe.
I now know heaven is waiting
When this life we leave.

This love of ours is strong,
Death cannot even sever,
And we will continue to love
Up in heaven and forever.
