Love For Nature

Tender as cuddling arms, this godly place
Bright the jasmines that pose in laced dresses
Enchanting my soul with bliss all around;
That paints this unbridled colorfulness.

No panels of steel gates here, or mown grass
That disapprove of a fancy free tread…
Where I graze the meadow, in abandon
Relishing the scent of air overhead.

Oh jasmine sprigs are fondled by the breeze
Where birdsong trills on moonlit summer skies;
That kindles inner holiness in me
As lush artworks enthuse these joy-filled eyes

Even in winter’s hand, buds glint the dew
That’s why I love nature staying aglow,
As any cycle thrills my thankful heart …
To pray for her dear life… to richly flow.

This is so lovely Nette! This would have been much higher on my list. So glad I got to read this beauty. Summer is the scent of magical jasmine at twilight into morning light. My husband has planted a bush back and front of our yard and it is what I love most about summer. Congratulations Nette. ; )

Your poems often lead me to trails free of modern adulteration, wildernesses of natural poetic play Poetess..."Where I gaze the meadow, in abandon..." superb! J.A.B.

The lush richness of nature has a more heavenly feel than the clean clipped lawns and hedges with precise edges..good luck in the contest

Love the images of the jasmine nette. I glance out my window and see the leaves rustling in the breeze and can't see how anyone could not love nature.
