Love Finds a Way
With every new day, love finds a way
Molding it from the beginning like a colorful bouquet
Both of us willing to do the work that builds a pathway
To that special place where love lives on display
Giving it to God when we bow our heads to pray
Taking on presence in our lives like foreplay
Building a foundation made of gold
One that will support us as we grab a hold
Of what warms us inside and keeps us from the cold
Always willing to take the time
To live true love that we design
Making sure we have seen the right signs
Building trust in each other that helps us unwind
What goes on living in our minds
Realizing love is far from a perfect rhyme
It takes dedication and commitment to keep it in time
With every new day, love finds its way
Like a beautiful sunset across the bay
Having no regrets from our yesterdays
It's far from a picnic in full play
Creating forever love that is here to stay
Dancing through life like a perfect ballet
