Love Everlasting

I can feel it sink inside.
Cold, foreign, yet known.
You push deeper in my flesh;
Past my skin and past my bone.

It rings with resounding ache,
And brings trembling numbness felt.
You set my insides on fire
As my body begins to melt.

Even before we spoke,
I knew you were the one.
With one hand you touched my heart,
And turned it to the Sun.
