Love Doesn'T Return

The full moon rises high In the star studded sky The night dons a silvery blue attire As romantic and mystic as ever. The full moon will rise again But this night will not return. The rains fall and gently embrace The tree leaves with wet grace The clouds up above melt and creep Like fleeting dreams in serene sleep. The rains will fall again But these clouds will not return. You celebrated your birthday every year With me around candles of love and care Memories imprinted of these times in my mind Now drift with me like leaves in the wind. Your birthday will come again But I will not return. August 2, 2017
