Love Divine Is a Love That Is Kind

"Love Divine is a Love That is Kind"

To say that we love
Is easy to do
But divine love
Is a love that is true

So easy to say we love
But harder not to react
When one says heartless things
It requires a lot of tact

Some people judge so easily
Others are the kindest souls
But where we set our focus
Ultimately reveal our goals

Saying we love is easy
Showing it another thing
We are all tempted in some way
To say hurtful things

Yet learning to be kind
When others are rude and mean
Is a practise within itself
Not as easy as it may seem

Although we are all on a journey
We may take different paths
Yet if love is truly our focus
Could there be any greater task?
