Love Caught Up With Us

The daylight has come, the night is gone
The hours of toil have passed
The curtain has been drawn
The pain is gone, God’s peace is in
Listen to the song of the birds in our hearts
A fresh new day has come
Our souls are trembling under the power of love

This attraction we’ve always fought
Was the dream our souls sought
The silent hurts we endure each moment
Our souls fight the torment,
Of resisting a preordained love, is from above
Your countenance, peaceful like a dove
Your faith, strong like waves of the sea
Will soon betray the love you refuse to see

Heavenly petals are falling with obvious reason
To announce the sweetness of the season
The celestial waterfall is sprinkling on us
The hour has finally caught up with us
The daylight has truly come, the night is gone forever
Who are we to fight the light
When our home has come to us in our hearts
Untill time ceases and space is no more
We will forever love and fight no more
