Love Came
Love came and went-
lovers hummed bitter-sweet symphonies
my ears full of buzz,
eyes full of tears,
............................................................................
suddenly, I hear cuckoo singing me melodies-
singing of rain; monsoon and drain-
of green hills, valleys and plains,
of seasons that go and come again,
deserts turning oasis, no barren they remain-
of light and love that I started seeing in this maiden.
