Love Brings

Love has emotions for all kinds of reasons
Love can last forever or only for a season
Love is like a toy it can leave you spinning
Love is felt early, at times from the very beginning

Love brings disappointment, tears and sadness
Love brings joy, smiles and gladness
Love brings messages through phone, mail and text
Love has you wondering what he'll say next

Love brings fusses and sometimes a fight
Break up today, make up tonight
Love brings talks and walks in the park
Love brings holding hands on the porch in the dark

Love brings two together as one
Love is when silly can be so much fun

Love makes a heart have an irregular beat
Love makes you clip his toenails and massage his feet
Love brings questions where you guess the answer
Love is a disease that can spread like cancer

It grows all over from head to toe
It makes you tell the world you love that person so
And even at night when you are not together
Love brings you to that person, no matter wherever

And before you go to sleep after a long, hard day
You thank God for the love He has sent your way
