Love At First Sight

Love at first sight,
How to explain,
The glimmer in your eye,
The shine on your face,
The heart but leaps,
Like it’s running a race,
The electricity,
Jumps thought we are yards away,
So carefully we react,
To see if it’s true,
That feeling,
Was just between me and you,
From across the crowded room,
There you stand,
Destine for me to be your man.

It certainly happens like that many times. I like the touch of reality in this poem. Great job! Joseph
