Love As a Lie

I regret ever responding to your friendly “sup”
You have broken my heart and I just plain gave up
And now we are dancing on broken glass.
So shattered it’s turned my dreams into a meaningless mass.

How could you leave me on the edge of the cliff?
You loved and protected me, as if...
I gave you my heart, you gave me goodbye,
I guess all that love really was a big lie...
