Love Arrives On Bluebird Wings

Love arrives on bluebird wings Butterflies, strings, myriads of things, She discovers with rapt fascination A new world dizzy with animation. Each day she learns as she grows She began by fondling her little toes Expanding her experiences bit by bit From her big brother she learned to spit. And before I knew it, she went away I knew it would happen … her wedding day Now, the grandchildren are coming to visit, And I am learning the meaning of exquisite. I’ll always cherish the memory, my heart sings, Remembering how love arrived on bluebird wings. Written March 3, 2022

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Caren. I was in a sentimental mood, thinking about my daughter when she was very young.

Thanks, Heidi. I was experimenting a bit with some thoughts and with a different look. I hope it works like I hoped it would.
