Love and Friendships

‘Tho love might come but once your way,
They’ll be many friendships in between.
With caring gestures so often seen
Thru thick and thin midst all the fray.

Friends at you side most every day
Their shoulders on which you can lean.
‘Tho love might come but once your way
They’ll be many friendships in between.

A special mate for life, you pray
‘Tho the final outcome can’t be seen.
You cannot cry “what might have been”
With friends at your side you’ll be okay.
‘Tho love might come but once your way.
