Love
i gave up on love when i was young
love to me was a poem being sung
rarity of true love turned out to be true
never real but always new
but when i grew older i wanted to know more
i started wish love came knocking at my door
but when it came i became afraid
as if i was in a war raid
but then i found you
our love was special and new
it was different to how i thought it would be
perspective has changed how i see
we were always together never apart
oh sweet love now fills my heart
it overflows into my life
forever and always I'll be your wife
