Love

Love (complete)

I hate love, I love love.
'Tis my regret, my aspiration,
The thing I pursue, the thing I'm running from.
Love encages me love sets me free
My distraction and my inspiration.
Nothing strange and powerful as love.
Love strikes like thunder, love calms the storm.
Comediest tale, tragediest story

Love is everything.
Love is a shield, love's an arrow.
Love is blind, love is a sparrow.
It is a mysterious thing.
A thing we are all too young to know,
Too wise and too foolish to understand.
Love is to shine amidst the rainbow,
Love is to play as a child on the sand.

Love is a nurse love's an assassin
A door, a fence, a sea, a bridge
Love is poison love is medicine
Love's an art love is a language

Love is a knife love is a thread
A reason to live, reason to die
Love is blue, white, green, black, yellow, red
It's that wail, that laughter, that sigh
