Love

Love is uncertain,
Love is a wide open curtain,
Love has many faces,
Love leaves no traces,
It is like a beast,
that will never cease.
He has gone through many years,
Cause'd and stopped many a tears.
Never has it died
Many has it tried.
Sometimes it brings to hearts
or tears two apart.
Love is a kind friend
BUT sometimes it turn to an enemy
In the end.

My wife's middle name is Elizabeth after Elizabeth Taylor. So does that automatically make you an Ettie or Ready Ettie lets go, go, go because I love you so, so, so. Didn't Elvis sing that one? There is an Etta James I believe. Jim Horn

Hi, Ettie! How are you? Thanks for visiting my page. As with many first reads on this site, I'll start with your first post. :) I wasn't expecting to read about the pro's and con's of Love when I clicked on your poem. I thought I was in for a bright sunny day trek. Instead, I found myself in an interrogation room with someone telling me how multi-faceted Love truly is and how uncommitting it gets when it wants to. I think it's great!!!

This is one heartfelt poem. Haven't read these in so long. This is a pleasant, beautiful write here. Love is very indescribable, yet it is a mystery we must all unfold in some part of our life or some never find out. You know some of the meaning of love...Great job.
