Love
Loving you is like a song
The birds sing in spring,
A renewal that makes a bond
Feels like the strongest thing.
Something that can never break
A tie that’s meant forever,
We’ll always belong one and the same
In this life and hereafter.
You’re stuck with me no matter what
Through the bad times and the good,
We’re a team, a pair, a partner in crime
Watching each others backs, like we should.
Trusting the choices that you make
I’ll be by your side through it all.
No matter where time takes us
We’ll catch each other if we fall.
To have a love that’s everlasting
Feels like unshakable bliss,
Every time we feel weak and down
Only to be brought up by a single kiss.
I love that you love me
The way that I love you,
I couldn’t have asked for a better half
This much I know is true.
So every time I hear the birds
Singing our song in spring,
I’ll remember to kiss and say ”I love you”
Love, what beautiful thing.
