Love

To search and never find that most precious thing that binds
Sometimes with luck sometimes with fate
This precious thing is in the world
Sought by all won by some
Bought, sold, taken by some folk, lost forsaken

Gold silver pearls and jade, sometimes won by open blade
Fought for, sought for, looked for, talked for
What is this elusive thing?
Something God meant for all
Freely given born in a stall

Above all else love ye one another
For a fine example look to mother
There you’ll find this wonderful thing
Love unlimited, enough to make your heart sing
