Love

What is real love
Can it be defined
Is it something that you seek for
Hoping that you’ll find
Does it really make you blind
Does it come from deep within
Well below the surface of the skin

When it touches you
Will you ever be the same
Does it have a face
Or even a name
Can it get you through
Even the darkest night
Is it really
A warming light
Is it always right

It means something different
To everyone that feels
And with every heart it steals
It is real
Everyone should be fortunate enough to feel
And I believe in the saying
It is better to have loved and lost
Than to never have loved at all

The End
