Love

Love is wonderful,
Like a baby's birth.
Love is scary,
Like a child's first day of school.
Love is worth
A million years.
Love is like a growing toddler,
Always there, but not always merry.
Love has it's ups and downs,
Weighing you down like a million pounds.
Love is crazy,
Some days hazy.
It can break you
Or remake you.
It can be a prize,
Until love dies.
Carry it with you
Like a precious jewel;
Someday it could be used
As a sacred tool.
Cherish it forever more,
If love comes knocking
At your door.
