Love
Love's a mystery
famed in history,
magic;
It's a great story
made with mastery,
mythic;
Sometimes comedy,
sometimes tragedy,
epic.
Heart of its longing
defies everything,
true love;
Peril is nothing,
for, love is flitting,
like dove;
Honest and caring,
never pretending,
must have.
Heart in swift motion,
sincere emotion,
so fine;
Heartfelt affection
doused with compassion,
divine;
Deep dedication,
ardent devotion,
like mine.
