Notes About The Poem

Lovapalooza Constanza

It’s a grand event on Hearts Day,
        with million kisses and heartbeats,
        renewing vows to consecrate.

Along the side of grandiose bay,
        thousands of couples join the game,
        locking lips so long, unashamed!

That midnight of a holiday,
        moon and stars are main witnesses
        of  lovers’ sincere promises.

Mall nearby has fireworks array
      which sparks bright to signal the start.
       Lips zip breathlessly, cheers erupt!

Around ten seconds, zipped lips stay.
      Then everyone shouted, "Hurray!"
      It's real Lovers' Festival Day!

   It's a grand event on Hearts Day,

Len Gasun August 28, 2012 at 5:30 AM oh yes, originally, i ended up with 5 stanza but i thought i can extend, LOL and as far as I remember it'll only be 8 syllables per line. the lovapalooza name is already very long. well, thank you so much. this is just an experiment anyway, lol. win or not is ok. I can't think of better theme yet to write.
