Lots To Learn

We don't know much on the scale of things.
Why do crows crow and nightingales sing?
Why do animals have four legs?
Human Beings only have two pegs.

Why do birds fly and man cannot?
These unanswered questions tie my brain in a knot
We all have a brain, that's for sure,
The brain is our information store.

It doesn't matter what we know,
Nobody knows much, no matter how far they go.
Whatever knowledge education brings,
We know nothing on the scale of things.

This is super insightful " Warblers return to their home with their partner The fading light welcome the night saying the earth goodbye" and delightful!

Careful! Many people would be truly upset if they realised that had to be a grub until they learned all about being a grub, then a worm to learn all about being a worm, etc., Aloha!

Yes, in the grand scheme of the cosmos, we know so little. I enjoyed your poem, Shirley.

Very true, lot of unanswered questions about life and death. I often think why is God hidden.
