Lost World

Growing up as a little girl, Innocent and bright - I couldn´t wait to be grown-up (unfathomable delight!) In teenage years, I dreamed of ´Love´; (Oh, to give my heart away!) I never knew with pain it came, and tears on break-up day. As I look back on child-beliefs, I wonder, (if I´d known...) Would I eér have let my heart roam free? Would 'First Love' 'er have grown? If, as kids, we'd knew that our dreams were born in a world now forever lost, would anyone want to grow on up, knowing first the cost? I have searched my soul to ask myself what my honest answer would be.... I think it's 'Yes', 'cause though love hurts - It also sets us free! Topic and Title chosen by Andreas Sippel (I ask for Title, and then run and write, just for fun!)
