Lost Without Light

I'm just worried about this,
Will I bring tears to her eyes,
By opening up my hands to her,
And tell her I'm all out of tries,
I've been holding on so tight,
My hands are beginning to shake,
But the thought of me letting go,
Makes my heart start to brake,
I don't even know if this is right,
Praying still leaves me no clue,
Asking Him every single minute,
"God what do I need to do!"
Tears roll down my cheek,
This feels like another sad song,
I fear if I break this promise,
Its going to be so damn wrong,
My heart is telling me to wait,
My mind is lost without light,
I'm sorry I'm breaking my promise,
I'm giving your heart back alright,
I wish this was all a bad dream and,
I didn't fail with your broken heart,
Since everything happens for a reason,
We get to live the rest of our days apart!!

Whatever happens can either be fixed, or was supposed to happen. We plan and God laughs; this poem reminded me of that. In this case God might not be laughing, but rather smiling knowing he has a much better plan for you my friend.
