Lost To Time

A voice that’s been lost to time,
Yet still ever-present in this mind of mine.
Its resonance seems fresh to my ears,
Merely this ushers forth a multitude of tears.

How can such a plenty of years not lessen
Or wear thin the fabric of recollection
To make this old loss seem more tolerable,
This all seems so inexorable.

A loss can overshadow many gains. Just shed light on gains. A good one
