Lost Peer

If you don’t want me around, just say so. This is going round and round, you know? I’m tired of being left wanting more, While working to be better than before. You say that you love me, but we need work. I say the darkness took me with a sly smirk. But I can’t change the way you think, I can’t seem to figure out the link. I’ve asked you what’s on your lists, And if it’s me you’ve missed. Your response was of resolution, So why are we stuck in this revolution? You wanted change, I’m doing my best. I’m working on me, at your behest. So tell me where do we go from here, Tell me if I’m in the wrong. Am I just another lost peer, Or do you still hold to our song?
