Lost Pages of a Poet

Pages with my life on them Angst, love, happiness, friendship, death, sadness Words never to be read again Feelings never to be felt again Tall-tales never to be shared again Nobody besides me will ever know they existed Sexual encounters, loves lost, friendships ended All forgotten by the wayside Pages and pages of nothingness and ramblings Sheets of dreams & asperations of something Paper full of time slipping through the hourglass Writing just to make the time pass Writings that are impossible to recover Words that cannot be re-discovered College Ruled heart and soul The lost pages of a poet are like a lost part of a soul The lost pages of a poet is the missing piece of their heart
