Lost Muse

In the dark distant corner of my mind
I seek some intelligence but can't find.

Looking at my blank white piece of paper
Pen in hand but ink just turns to vapour.

Unable to see the future only past
sight is distorted as shadows are cast,

Why has my muse become bemused
will I ever be able to write less confused.

Inspiration comes at a time of its choosing, your muse isn't gone it's just taking a well earned vacation. If you try and push creativity it will refuse to budge and the page stares back at you in mock readiness to receive your drops of ink with each emotion trapped in time. Emile.

It's a horrible feeling, isn't it? I have it on occasion, and it fills me with fear everytime: suppose I can never write a poem??? Lucky for us it is always temporary, stay strong my friend!
