Lost Love

LOST LOVE Only thinking of what they lost. Their mind plays the scenes over and over. Constantly searching for the key of redemption but only coming up with three leaf clovers. They ache for what is no more. They cry for what they cannot have. Wandering aimlessly about, always searching for their lost half. Silently they hide behind a mask, never revealing the hurt they conceal. Smiling for the camera’s flash, never sharing how they truly feel. Praying and hoping against all odds. Searching aimlessly on every sandy shore. Never wanting to admit the truth, that the love they once had will be no more. By Arthur James
