Lost Love
She spends the last night lying all awake....
Staring bleakly in the darkness of the hollow inside..
Trying hard finding an answer for her soul's sake...
But restlessness is what in her mind reside...
Good old times are by far gone..
Oh.. why was she left forlorn?
This is not what she asked from life,
All she wanted was to remain alive...
Thoughts of him surface her mind..
The times in which they were entwined
His love was the only thing she lived for...
And never yearned for a thing more..
But life on her was unfair..
Threw her on shores of despair..
Cried enough and the tears have dried
Her faith in love has been defied....
She has requested for some bandages...
To sew back on the deep gashes...
On her empty soul and bruised heart...
Can anyone save her from falling apart?
