Lost Love

Like Christmas you came to me like the season and by Valentine’s you were gone…

Was it worth the wild for me to fall in love with you; please let me know if I was wrong?

We’ve been through our ups and downs and we’ve hit our 180 degree turns yet we’re right
back at the start…

Me still holding forth on the notion of loving you and you refusing to see the love within my
heart….

I had even vowed to climb to the highest peak on any continent just so that I could scream
out and call your name…

But matters are what they seem to be so my actions would be futile because for you nothing
would have ever changed …

A wise man once said, “That love is the easiest thing to seek but it can also be the hardest
thing to capture and then hold…”

I had never experience such a pain as I do now; so in those words I now understand
completely on what I was once told …

Let these words be a constant reminder unto you on what was drastically left behind…

They say love comes to us all in need but this time love has decided to bypass me like if it
was blind…

I’m only left with the notions and the thoughts on how we could have been…

So please erase me from all previous memories as my words and love for you obviously
didn’t mean anything!
