Lost In Thought

I pass by the open door,
Not sure what to do,
It was open just a crack,
So I pushed it with my shoe.

The light was so bright,
I thought I'd go blind,
I walked through the door,
Before I changed my mind.

I could see nothing,
But this blinding light,
Not sure where it came from,
Or how it got so bright.

A dog came to me,
And it I chased,
It led me to nothing,
But the problem I now faced.

I was lost for good,
Not sure what to do,
I turned back around,
But the door was gone too.
