Lost In Thought

I tried to think of a way,
To say what I wanted to say.
I pondered and thought of lessons they taught,
But my mind just went astray.

Steeped with words so profound,
Still my voice would utter no sound.
With all sincerity and a moment of clarity,
I decided to write them down.

With ink flowing as it should;
And doing the best that I could,
Thanks to publishing leaders and avid readers,
My words were now understood.

At last I could shed my fear,
Through pride and a salty tear.
With the cover embossed at a minimal cost,
My book will be published next year.

Thanks John, But you're a little premature. I haven't received any offers yet, but I'm working on it. It was wishful thinking on my part. I was trying to be comical and prophetic at the same time.
