Lost In My Thoughts
Here once again, I sit quietly,
Lost in my thoughts remembering a time that used to be.
A place and time where happiness and joy filled every corner of our home,
Unfortunately time and sadness took their place and those memories are
Almost gone.
It was so long ago yet in my mind I can still recall,
The laughter and the smiles on the faces of them all
It was another time another place
Gone forever and I'm afraid it can never be replaced
But in a small place tucked in my memory
That world I miss is still there and always will be
Waiting there patiently ready to welcome me
