Lost Heroes

Lost Heroes Written: by Miracle Man 4-24-2017 Many forced to mature before their time, Each, someone’s daughter, or someone’s son; Having their lives exacted during wartime, Circumstances had dictated they be the one. Many came home a casualty, feeling defeated, Others died for a cause that couldn’t be aborted. Spat upon by some and most were mistreated, Countless found themselves being unsupported. But seen through my eyes they’re heroes all, For they voluntarily paid the ultimate price; Our sovereignty’s fight became their downfall, For ideals they became the supreme sacrifice.
