Lost Fallen Teeth

They’re there somewhere Lost in the carpet, or on my bed If only, they ended up Under my pillow instead With the inability to crunch anymore We’re all gummy now Humming the song Where only the lonely Understands us There is a perfect harmony When we perform together Purring for these fallen heroes Who took us in from the storm Gave us shelter And a home And so, my friend You don’t have to live Under the front porch Anymore With the skunk and racoon Leave them feeling jealous Come inside Where it’s warm My friend Being now life long And forever to The end

Ode to a missing tooth? Why not. Unless I'm missing something deeper. Interesting if not quirky. You always write from a unique angle
