Synapses tickle each other Is it just for fun Nearly a connection But decide to knock-and-run Like a colourful projection On some passing cloud Or a whisper of protection With no voice to shout aloud So my slowly waking moments Tend to fool that I was there In alternative reality With it's wanderlust and flare Then the bump of landing solidly Though my bed is soft and cosy With the vague allure of memory Of a moonlight dance so dozey I grasp at stars that vanish And loves that fade away.. Oh to capture night-time's magic In a jar of light some day

Sometimes it's hard to hold on to dreams. Your contemplation of dreams, however, was well-written. The last words were some of my favorites: "Oh to capture the night-time's magic, In a jar of light some day."

I hate it when I wake the next day knowing I had a fantastic dream but just can't remember the details. A wonderful poem my friend.

Why thank you Jerry :) 'tis true that lost dreams can frustrate.. but thankfully those sometimes nightmares also fade! May you always recall the beautiful butterfly moments.

Ah this is so evOcative and soul stirring dear sam, i really felt so many emotions reading this and i can resonate with so many lines: i tend to chase them vanishing stars hoping they would hear my wishes and grant them true, meanwhile its just shadows sometimes we grasp, leaving us feel that all we have are but just lost dreams. Profound write this is: pleasure reading. Those last lines hit home for me. Soulful and ethereal how you’ve conveyed these rhymes
