Lost Child

I never had the chance to meet you face to face
You grew in my stomach for just a short while
I felt your presence with every breath I took
I imagined what you would look like
I use to daydream about you growing up
Taking you to the park
Swinging you on the swings
Hearing your laugh
Your first words
Your first steps
How can you miss someone so much you never met
Its the bond between a mother and a child
It starts even before they are born
You will never be replaced in my heart
You will always and forever be my child with no name
